Louis Cozolino, Kirke Olson and Richard Hill in Conversation about Education

The focus of this conversation is Education and is based around the recent books – Attachment Based Teaching, and The Social Neuroscience of Education, by Louis Cozolino, and The Invisible Classroom, by Kirke Olson. These are both books from the Norton Series on the Social Neuroscience of Education of which Louis Cozolino is Chief Editor. Both authors are well steeped in the practice of education – Cozolino as a Professor of Psychology at Pepperdine University, and Olson as a teacher and school psychologist for over 40 years.

The conversation is facilitated by Richard Hill who holds a Masters degree in Education from the University of Western Sydney. The central theme is captured in Olson’s book title, The Invisible Classroom, and the many aspects are discussed about how a classroom is so much more than the books, the desks and the curriculum.
